Ella Rumpf joins the cast on HBO Max-series »Tokyo Vice«

Ella Rumpf is about to start shooting in the HBO Max-series »TOKYO VICE«. Mann is set to direct the pilot with a script written by Tony-winning playwright J.T. Rogers.  The 10-episode series is based on Adelstein’s real-life, first-hand account of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police.

Ella Rumpf

Ella Rumpf was born in 1995 in Paris and grew up bilingual (German / French) in Zurich.
In 2011 she made her acting debut in the feature film SUMMER OUTSIDE (DRAUSSEN IST SUMMER), directed by Friederike Jehn. This experience was the catalyst for Ella to follow her career as an actress and to study acting in London. Before she began her studies however, she was cast for the role of Ali in the multi-award winning feature film WAR (CHRIEG) by Simon Jaquemet and nominated in the category “Best Supporting Actress” for the Swiss Film Award. This was followed by leading roles in other films, such as TIGER GIRL by Jakob Lass and RAW by Julia Ducournau.
