Derya Dilber was born in 2000 in Berlin to German-Turkish parents. She began her screen career as a teenager and made a swift impression through her lead role in Milena Aboyan’s debut feature Elaha (2022), a film that received wide attention at festivals. Her further credits include her lead role in feature film Nasser Hund and the Sky series Souls with director Alex Eslam and Hannah Maria Heidrich.

She is best known for her central role in the ARD comedy series Almania, created by David Gruschka, in which she has starred across four seasons since 2022. The series has become one of the most watched German-language streaming productions for younger audiences on the ARD Mediathek. Derya Dilber has been cast in a lead role in an untitled Amazon Prime series.
