1. Hosting & server log files
When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits, such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, date and time of the request, and the amount of data transferred. This data is stored temporarily in server log files for technical and security purposes (e.g. to ensure stable operation and detect misuse) and is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free operation of the website).
2. Cookies
This website uses only cookies that are technically necessary for it to function (e.g. to remember your cookie consent choice). We do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing cookies of our own.
Cookies may additionally be set by third-party video providers if you actively choose to play an embedded video — see section 4 below. You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.
3. Contacting us
You can contact us by email or phone. Any personal data you send us this way (e.g. name, email address, message content) is used solely to process and respond to your enquiry and is not passed on to third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, depending on the nature of the enquiry.
Unsolicited applications: If you send us an unsolicited application, your data (e.g. CV, photos, showreel links) is processed solely for the purpose of reviewing it. Please note that we cannot respond individually to every unsolicited application. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with German data protection employment law, as applicable.
Fan mail: We do not forward fan mail or requests for autographs; messages of this kind sent to our office address are not stored beyond what is necessary to inform you of this.
4. Embedded video content (YouTube, Vimeo, Filmmakers.eu)
To present talent show reels, individual talent profile pages may embed video players from the following third-party providers:
- YouTube, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland
- Vimeo, operated by Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 W 34th Street, New York, NY 10001, USA
- Filmmakers.eu, operated by filmmakers.one GmbH, Gocher Str. 19, 50733 Köln, Germany
These video players are not loaded automatically. A placeholder is shown instead, and the player is only loaded from the respective provider’s servers once you actively click to play a video. From that moment, your browser establishes a direct connection to the provider, which may set its own cookies and process data such as your IP address, browser information, and viewing behaviour, in accordance with that provider’s own privacy policy. We have no influence over the scope of this data processing.
Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by actively initiating playback (and, where applicable, by accepting the cookie banner). You can withdraw consent at any time with future effect by not playing further embedded videos and by clearing cookies set by these providers in your browser.

Some of these providers may process data in the USA or other third countries. Where this is the case, the providers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
5. Talent profile data
Names, photographs, biographical information, credits, awards and (where provided) show reels of the actors, writers, directors and cinematographers we represent are published on this website as part of our talent management and agency services. This data is processed on the basis of our management/representation agreements with the respective talent and/or their legitimate interest and ours in professional visibility within the industry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and/or (f) GDPR.
6. External links
This website contains links to our social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook) and to a Google Maps listing of our office address. These are plain outbound links — clicking them takes you to the respective third-party site, which then applies its own privacy policy. No data is transmitted to these providers merely by visiting our website.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15),
- request correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16),
- request erasure of your data (Art. 17),
- request restriction of processing (Art. 18),
- data portability (Art. 20),
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21), and
- withdraw consent at any time with future effect (Art. 7(3)).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at office@spiel-kind.com.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the website or legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page.
