Andrea Osvárt was born in 1979 in Budapest and grew up in a small town in the south of Hungary. After placing second in the Hungarian „Look of the Year“ competition in 1996, she moved to Budapest and started to model professionally. She attendend an Italian-Hungarian high school and later went on to major in Italian Studies at the Faculty of Humanities of Eötvös Lóránd University. In 2001 Osvárt landed a role alongside Robert Redford and Brad Pitt in the movie Spy Game. She decided to leave behind modeling and focus on her acting career, first attending the Földessy Margit Acting School in Budapest and later being admitted to the International Acting School in Rome, Italy. Osvárt is known for her work in the international TV series Transporter (2012-2013), the Italian comedy Un Matrimonio Da Favola (2014) and the coming-of-age drama In Search of Fellini (2017).
She won the European Golden Globe as well as the Guglielmo Biraghi Award for her role in Maternity Blues (2011). Moreover, she was honored as „Best Actress“ at the 51st International Monte Carlo TV Festival.
Osvárt recently starred alongside Heino Ferch in another sequel of the German TV series Allmen.
