Deleila Piasko was born in 1991 in Zurich and studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts Berlin. She built a strong foundation in theatre with engagements at the municipal theatre Bern, Staatsschauspiel Dresden, and the most prestigious Burgtheater Wien.
Alongside her stage work, Piasko has appeared in numerous film and television productions, including Stasikomödie, directed by Leander Hausmann, the Sky Series Die Ibiza Affäre and the award-winning series Der Schatten.

One of her most prominent roles has been in the Netflix series Transatlantic (2022) and the ARD series Die Zweiflers (2023), for which she and the ensemble won the Hessischen Rundfunk Ensemblepreis and the Hessischer Filmpreis, and which won the Cannes Series award in 2024.

She played the Paramour (Buhlschaft) in Jedermann at the Salzburg Festival in 2024 and 2025, staged by Robert Carson. Further recent credits include the ARD series Das zweite Attentat, the ARD series Asbest (2024), the ZDFneo series Serial Cleaner (2025), and the SRF series Blind (2025). Her short film Immakulata, directed by Kim Lea Sakkal, screened at the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs at Cannes in 2023. At the moment she’s starring in the international series The Death of Sherlock Holmes as the leading role alongside Rafe Spall.
