Bless Amada was born in Lomé in 1997 and trained at the Otto‑Falckenberg‑Schule in Munich from 2017 to 2021. He made early appearances on screen and stage before attracting wider attention with roles across German and European productions.
His recent screen work includes Angemessen Angry (director Elsa van Damke), Polizeiruf 110: Little Boxes (director Dror Zahavi), the Netflix series Kitz, Beckenrand Sheriff, Heute stirbt hier Kainer (ARD), and the short The Raft, which screened at TIFF. On stage, he has performed at the Burgtheater Wien in Die Ärztin (dir. Robert Icke), Moskitos (dir. Itay Tiran), and Engel in Amerika (dir. Daniel Kramer), and at the Münchner Kammerspiele in rein GOLD (as Wotan), Mittelreich Black, and Kartoffelparty. Upcoming theatre includes Mephisto (dir. Jette Steckel, Münchner Kammerspiele) and Les Blancs (dir. MoMo Matsunyane, Schauspielhaus Graz). He appears in Illegal (director Alexander Dierbach), showing at the Munich Film Festival 2026.
In 2020, Bless Amada received the Proskenion Young Talent Award for the Performing Arts and, in 2022, a New Faces Award nomination. He is based between Vienna and Munich.
