Berit Vander was born in Düsseldorf in 1998 and trained at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding in Munich, graduating in 2021; she also studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris. She built a strong foundation in theatre, performing at renowned German venues including the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, the Residenztheater in Munich in Karin Henkel’s production of Medea, and the Theater an der Ruhr, where she worked with directors Simone Thoma and Christine Umpfenbach. Her film and television work includes, for example, roles in the ZDFneo series Push (2023).
Her other work includes Morden im Norden, Soko Köln and the ZDF film Dünentod (RTL, 2023).
Particularly noteworthy is her role in the Italian feature film The Tasters (Silvio Soldini, Lumière & Co, 2024) and Mari Pfeiffer’s feature film Traue Niemandem! (2024). She is also a long-standing member of the ensemble at the GRIPS Theatre in Berlin, where she has been appearing in Linie 1 and Princess since 2024.
