Soma Pysall was born in Berlin in 1995. She began her career with early appearances in the Amazon series Beat and the RTL II series Wir sind jetzt, before making her breakthrough as the lead actress in the TNT series Para – Wir sind King (2020). This earned her the German Television Award for Best Leading Actress, the New Faces Award for Best Young Actress and the Blue Panther TV & Streaming Award for Best Leading Actress. In 2022, she returned for the second season of Para.

Her other work includes the Netflix series Buba and the ZDFneo series Loving Her, as well as Die Discounter (Amazon) and Victor Bringt’s (Amazon). Her most recent work includes the lead role in City of Blood (Disney+, directed by Philipp Kadelbach) and Ameisen fressen kein Halva (2025), which was invited to the Tribeca Film Festival in 2026. She is currently playing one of the lead roles in the Netflix series Die Guten und die Toten.
