Lenn Kudrjawizki grew up in East Berlin, where his father had a job as a scientist and his mother worked as an interpreter. He discovered the violin and at the age 6 years old he performed on stage at the Leningrad State Ballet. Lenn attended a grammar school where he received acting, singing and violin lessons. In Dresden he studied violin. As a teenager Lenn made his television debut in 1994 in the role of Vladimir in the film KATRIN AND WLADIMIR. Since then, Lenn has been part of over 50 TV and movie productions, such as: JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT by Kenneth Branagh, the Oscar-winning film THE COUNTERFEITERS (Stefan Ruzowitzky) and in POPE JOAN, directed by Sönke Wortmann. Since 2016 Lenn has played the main role of commissioner in ARD television series KROATIEN KRIMI. He also plays a role in the sixth season hit series VIKINGS which is due to air in 2019.
In 2007, Lenn made his directorial debut with the short film TODAY IS MY DAY. His second work as a director and author was THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT (2009), which was very successfully represented at various international festivals and for which he received the prestigious Murnau Award. He was honored with the Amnesty International Human Rights Award for BUSINESS AS USUAL.
In addition, he founded the world’s first Co2-reduced orchestra “The Berlin Show Orchestra” with his company Legrain Productions. With his campaign “Start with Heart” Lenn bicycled with other colleagues all the way from Germany to the set in Croatia. The initiative benefits children in need and will be held regularly from now on.
