After graduating from Hamburg Media School with a Master of Arts in Film (Screenwriting) Maike Rasch established herself as a prolific and versatile screenwriter working across children’s and family entertainment and drama productions.
Her early credits include Junas fantastische Reise (ARD, 2018, creator and scripts), Bonnie & Bonnie (Riva Filmproduktion, 2019), Ihr letzter Wille kann mich mal! (Lieblingsfilm/ARD Degeto, 2020). Maike wrote several episodes of the critically acclaimed thriller series Höllgrund (Studio Zentral / SWR) and created the popular, long-running TV series Jenseits der Spree (ZDF, concept and scripts, 2021), as well as ARDs medical drama series David und Goliath (ARD, Bantry Bay, 2024-2026). Maike has been Headwriter and lead scriptwriter on both seasons of the ZDFtivi series Echt Friends (Studio Zentral, 2023–2024), which received a Grimme-Preis nomination in 2025. She is currently working on a feature film as well as new series concepts. Maike is based in Hamburg.
