Anna-Lena Schwing studied American and British literature in Hamburg and has started her career acting in various film and series productions such as the serie Friedmans Vier, Bjarne Mädel’s directorial debut Sörensen hat Angst and in the disaster series Sløborn. Together with Maximilian Mundt she is part of the creative duo Alma who have directed several film projects and commercials since 2016.

In 2026 she completes the renowned writing course Drehbuchwerkstatt München with the feature Fucking lies (WT). She is developing a comedy series for RTL+, with Ron Leshen as creative producer. Anna-Lena is based in Berlin.
