Michelangelo Fortuzzi was born in 2001 and holds both German and Italian nationality. He began his screen career as a child with a role in the ARD multi-part Pinocchio (2011), directed by Anna Justice, and trained at the Giles Foreman Centre for Acting in London from 2020 to 2022. He gained wide recognition in Germany through his recurring role in the popular ZDFneo series Druck across multiple seasons and went on to appear in the Amazon series Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo, directed by Philipp Kadelbach.
His feature film credits include Sam Clemens’ The Drowned, Frauke Lodders’s Gotteskinder, and Fernando Eimbcke’s Berlin, I Love You. His most recent credits include the Tatort Saarbrücken episode Das Ende der Nacht, the ZDF crime series Watch Me and the HBO Series Banksters, released in 2026. He is based in Berlin.
