Helena Yousefi was born 2006 in Berlin. She is best known for her leading role as Zoe Sawadi in the comedy series Doppelhaushälfte, in which she has starred across all five seasons since 2022, a role that has made her a widely recognisable face for younger German-language audiences. Raised in Berlin, Yousefi is of Iranian-German heritage and spent part of her childhood in South Africa. She is fluent in both German and English. In addition to acting, she was actively involved in soccer for many years and trained in ballet and hip-hop dance. Her film and television credits include Nackt über Berlin (2023), Mord oder Watt? (2025) and the leading role in Hinter der Linie (2026). Continuing to expand her professional and artistic development, she enrolled in the acting programme at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF in 2026.
