Havana Joy was born in 2000 in London and grew up in Berlin, holding German and Turkish nationality. She works fluently in German and English, also speaks French and Turkish, and is based in Berlin. She began her career in short films and commercials before making her television breakthrough with the lead role of Zelda in the ZDFneo/Netflix vampire romance series Love Sucks, opposite Damian Hardung, which brought her to a wide audience on its release in 2024. The series has become one of the most widely watched German genre productions of its generation internationally.
Her further credits include the lead role in WDR/ARD Degeto series Mozart Mozart (2025), directed by Clara Zoë My-Linh von Arnim. Havana will finish her training at film university Babelsberg Konrad Wolf at the end of 2026.
