George Lenz

Born in Germany and raised in Tyrol/Austria, George at first wanted to become a stuntman. He quickly realised his life would be about acting when his wonderful teacher founded a drama group. In 1988 he was admitted to the first German method acting school and one of the most intense, beautiful and revealing times had begun. “Three school years felt like nine human years”, says Lenz. In this school and also through many conversations with visual artists, it more and more revealed which role acting would play for him. With most films and stage plays we will certainly not change the world, but we get the chance to sweep people away, enthral them, scare them, move them and enchant them, maybe even inspire them. In films such as the English production APPETITE or Hartmut Schoens VOM KÜSSEN UND VOM FLIEGEN he truly accomplished that.
