Stage

Didi Danquart was born in 1955 Singen, Germany and studied Psychology and Sociology. He began filming in his university years, making several experimental movies and documentaries. He realised over 20 documentarys

In 2002, he set up the production company Noirfilm. Danquart has worked extensively for television. His first feature film “Viehjud Levi” premiered in 1999 at the Berlin Film Festival, his second feature film “Offset” at the Rome Film Festival. Bittere Kirschen (2011 in Oswiciem / Polen) is part of the triology „Deutsche Conditio Humana I – III“.

Didi Danquart is a university professor since 2001. He gave lessons for “artistic film” at Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG) in Karlsruhe and since 2009 he has the professorship for “directing” at Kunsthochschule für Medien (KHM) in Cologne.
